Top 5 Golf Swing Tips - Golf Swing Training

In this article I'm going to cover some simple golf swing tips to give you a broad overview of how you can improve your overall golf game. The golf swing is fundamental when it comes to playing a good round of golf.. So let's get started.

1. Number one - Grip. You need to have a solid grip. If your grip is off it will affect your swing. So when you're practicing either on or off the range, practice your grip. Once you get in the habit of setting up your grip correctly you will then be able to focus on the shot.

2. Number two - Backswing. Take that club back low and slow keeping the club face square to the ball. Just remember that you do not hit the ball on the backswing. So get in the habit of taking the club back nice and steady.

3. Number three - Transition. The transition is where you move from the backswing to the downswing. In general it is suggested that you transfer your weight by moving, in the case a right handed golfer - the left hip. In this case weight transfer and balance are really important.

4. Number four- Balance. Balance is critical to a good golf swing. If you're not balance it will be very difficult to get power in your swing because your energy will be misaligned.

5. Number five - Follow through. Now that you are transitioning from the backswing to the downswing you need to follow through aiming the club face down the target line. Once your follow through is complete hold that position. This will ingrain good muscle memory.

In conclusion just understand that when making swing changes it can be difficult but if you stick with it your game will improve.

For Beginners - Golf Tips Simplified

First let me welcome you to the wonderful game of golf. Now let me tell you there are no short cuts to becoming a reasonable golfer. It can be the most frustrating game to play even on one of your best days you can come off the course so frustrated that you swear never to play another round of golf as long as you live. Do not become despondent, we have all been there.

You must take your frustration and deal with it in a positive manner. Like I said above. THERE ARE NO SHORT CUTS. No quick fixes. That is why for beginners, golf tips are available in many simplified formats.

As a beginner you will need to understand the fundamentals of golf. This applies both for women and men. The first fundamental to learn and understand is, the set up procedure. This involves a number of vital routines, for instance. Your stance, your posture, your grip on the club, your swing arc, the correct size clubs for you, forming a strategy. Now like I said these are but a few of the start up drills which you must learn if you want to progress to a reasonable standard.

Lets take for instance your stance. This technique is available from eBooks written for beginners with tips that are simplified and easy to follow.

How do you set your feet and legs at the correct width to enable you to hit the ball?

To do this you must stand with the ball directly in the middle of your body. Rest your club directly at the back of the ball, do not touch the ball. Stretch your legs out to a distance which feels comfortable to you, This distance should be ten to twelve inches each side of the ball. Then with your feet and toes squared directly in front of you, slightly bend your knees until you feel relaxed. Do this a number of times until you are absolutely sure the position is right for you.

Your posture is the next vital stage. If you go into a game with your posture out of line with the rest of your body then there is absolutely no chance for you to swing properly.

Postures vary because people are made differently from each other. It would be wonderful if one posture fitted all. Unfortunately it is not so, therefore we must all develop our own unique posture.

Again all this information can be had quite easily for beginners where golf tips are simplified in very
layman's terminology.

There is no reason why you should not progress at a satisfactory pace if you follow the instructions laid out in a simplified teaching technique. Easy to follow diagrams of drills, set up procedures, gripping the club. It is all there for you. So please go ahead and enjoy the most wonderful game in the world. Golf.

Practice Your Swing and Relax at a Luxury Hotel

After two miserable summers, the latest predictions from meteorologists for this year are good - it's going to be a hot one with temperatures above average and rainfall low. Which is excellent news if you are one of the many golf enthusiasts out there, keen to get away for a golf weekend with friends at one of the UK's many luxurious hotels.

If there is one sport where good weather is essential it is golf, and there is nothing more enjoyable than strolling around a plush golf course in the sunshine. At many deluxe hotels, golf courses are built not only to be challenging but also aesthetically pleasing with beautiful, landscaped, surrounding gardens. It is also an excellent way to combine a weekend break of indulgence with some exercise as you work off your delicious breakfast and regain an appetite for your evening meal served in the hotel restaurant.

Most of the luxury hotels in the UK offer boutique breaks;'play and stay' offers to entice golfers into combining a round or two with a relaxing weekend including dinner. Even if you plan on staying for only one night, there is often the option to play a second time before a late check out in order to get some further practice in.

With the gorgeous summer ahead strongly predicted, availability at the most impressive and grand hotels will be limited so it may be advisable to book early to avoid disappointment. If you have bespoke requirements, it is always worth contacting the hotel you have in mind - as a luxury hotel, service and flexibility will be of paramount importance.

Of course, even with the long, warm, summer months predicted, we still have to go to work to fund such enjoyable weekend breaks away. However, if you have a corporate event planned why not choose a golfing weekend and take advantage of the great British outdoors? If anyone is worried their game is not quite up to scratch, tuition of a professional standard can be provided at various luxury hotels.

There surely is no better way for corporate groups to bond than over eighteen holes where the competitive spirit can kick in - followed by some time relaxing at the nineteenth hole!

With so many luxury hotels offering excellent golf weekends packages, the choice can be overwhelming. It's worth doing some research to ensure that the golf course and hotel is the right place for your relaxing weekend away.
